East Henderson outlasts Polk County, moves to 4-1 with a 20-13 win

WLOS - As one of the few games to stay on Friday night ahead of potential effects left over from Hurricane Florence, Polk County and East Henderson delivered a fantastic old school throwdown in East Flat Rock. Polk County took a 7-0 lead on a 1-yard Avery Edwards touchdown run, which almost stuck all the way to halftime. With just under two and a half minutes until intermission, the Eagles called a fake punt that turned into a 45-yard touchdown to send the game to the break tied at 7.
